The Portal Opens

As Zariel prepares to open the rift, Azrakael's spirit returns - stronger this time, more void than spirit. "Did you think dispersing me would be enough?" he snarls. "The Corruptor remade me. I am its voice. Its hand. Its lieutenant. And I will not let you descend." He attacks with void-power, his spirit form now dense with the Corruptor's energy. This is the final guardian before the rift. Zariel fights beside you, her celestial blade clashing against Azrakael's void-claws. "Go!" she shouts. "I'll hold him! Enter the rift! Begin the descent!" You strike Azrakael one final time, and as he staggers back, you leap into the rift. The void swallows you. The descent has begun.
