Wiki — Taskboard
The Taskboard is a community-driven task system where players can post and accept custom tasks for gold rewards. A player-driven economy for odd jobs.
How It Works
- Players can post tasks on the Taskboard with a gold reward.
- Other players can accept tasks and complete them for the reward.
- Tasks can include: kill targets, fetch items, escort NPCs, or reach a location.
- The poster pays the gold upfront; the reward is held in escrow until completion.
Posting a Task
- Open the Taskboard panel in the game UI.
- Specify: task type, target (monster/item/NPC), quantity, and gold reward.
- The gold is deducted from your balance and held in escrow.
- You can cancel an unaccepted task to refund the gold.
Accepting a Task
- Browse available tasks on the Taskboard.
- Filter by task type, reward amount, or level requirement.
- Accept a task to add it to your quest log.
- Complete the task objectives to receive the gold reward.
- If you abandon the task, it returns to the Taskboard for others.
