The First Fragment

Zariel explains: "The Corruptor's avatar was destroyed, but fragments of its power were scattered across the world when it fell. Each fragment is a piece of the map to the Abyssal Rift - the entrance to the descent. The first fragment was absorbed by the demons of Ashenmoor. The Dragon Lord's death weakened the barriers, and the fragment seeped into the demon population. Go to Ashenmoor. Slay demons. Collect the fragment." You head to the volcanic caverns, where the demons still swarm. The Corruptor's fragment pulses inside them like a dark heart.
