Track your monster kills by race, unlock bestiary entries, and assign charms for combat bonuses against specific races.
Bestiary
The bestiary tracks your kill count for each monster race. As you kill monsters, your bestiary entry for that race progresses through unlock tiers:

| 1 — Discovered | 10 | Basic stats visible (HP, XP, speed) |
| 2 — Studied | 100 | Full stats visible (resistances, immunities, loot) |
| 3 — Mastered | 500 | Charm slot unlocked for this race |
| 4 — Perfected | 5,000 | Bonus charm effect +10% |
Monster Races
There are 8 unique monster races in Aetheria:
blood
candy
chocolate
energy
fire
ink
undead
venom
Charms
Charms are passive bonuses that apply when fighting monsters of a specific race. You assign charms to unlocked bestiary slots.
| Charm | Effect |
|---|---|
| Wound | +5% damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Enflame | +10% fire damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Poison | +10% poison damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Freeze | +10% ice damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Zap | +10% energy damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Curse | +10% holy damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Scorch | +10% death damage to monsters of the assigned race |
| Life Drain | Heal 2% of damage dealt to monsters of the assigned race |
| Parry | -5% damage taken from monsters of the assigned race |
| Dodge | +3% dodge chance against monsters of the assigned race |
Managing Charms
- Request Bestiary: View your bestiary progress and unlocked charm slots.
- Assign Charm: Place a charm into an unlocked slot for a specific race.
- Remove Charm: Remove a charm from a slot (frees the slot for reassignment).
