The Aetherian Forge
A relic-currency crafting system inspired by the Forge of Binding. Spend Forge Relics to roll, reroll, upgrade, and corrupt the affixes on your equipment.
How It Works
- Equipment drops with a rarity: Normal, Magic, Rare, Unique, or Mythic — higher rarity means more affixes
- 56 affix stats exist — from raw attack to elemental resistances, leech, magic find, and more
- Spend Forge Relics to modify an item: reroll its affixes, upgrade its rarity, add or remove affixes, or risk corruption for power
- Relics drop from monsters and are fully tradeable on the market
- A share of market tax feeds the Forge Coffer, which auto-purchases and destroys listed valuables to keep the economy tight
Item Rarities

Forge Relics
Relics are consumed on use. Catalysts bias your rolls; the rarest relics duplicate or corrupt.

| Charm Thuss | Corrupts an item: riskier, stronger affix rolls. | |
| Ember Charm Try | Duplicates an item, affixes included. | |
| Essence Bynd | Binds a socketed gem's power into the item. | |
| Catalyst Vytal | Catalyst: biases rolls toward vitality/health affixes. | |
| Catalyst Sorsyn | Catalyst: biases rolls toward sorcery/mana affixes. | |

Tips
- Use a Binding Ember on a good affix before rerolling the rest
- Corrupt Embers can produce affixes above the normal range — or ruin the item
- Vendor recipes in the Forge window turn spare equipment into relics
