Warden Tasks Guide
The Warden Task system is a gathering-based assignment system inspired by Slayer and Artisan tasks.
How It Works
1. Find the Warden NPC in any town (one per town, 15 total)
2. Ask for a task — you'll be assigned to gather specific materials
3. Complete the task by gathering the required items
4. Return to the Warden for your reward
Warden Types
Each Warden has a profession focus:
- Mining Wardens — Assign ore/stone gathering tasks
- Skinning Wardens — Assign leather/hide gathering tasks
- Herbalism Wardens — Assign herb/plant gathering tasks
- General Wardens — Assign mixed gathering tasks
The tier range matches the town's biome — low-level towns give easy tasks, endgame towns give challenging ones.
Rewards
- Bonus XP — Scaled to task difficulty
- Gold — Direct payment
- Warden Tokens (Seals) — Special currency for Warden-specific rewards

Optimal Warden Strategy
For maximum efficiency:
1. Pick a Warden in a town matching your gathering level
2. Stockpile materials before accepting the task
3. Accept the task, immediately turn in the pre-gathered materials
4. Repeat daily
This turns Warden tasks into instant XP/gold with zero additional grinding.
Gathering Professions
- Mining — Extract ore from mining nodes scattered across the map
- Skinning — Collect hides from defeated creatures
- Herbalism — Harvest herbs from plant nodes
Each profession has its own skill level that increases with use. Higher skill = better yields and access to rarer materials.
Tips
- Gather while you hunt — Don't ignore nodes near your hunting spots
- Daily tasks — Warden tasks reset daily, always claim them
- Match your zone — Gather in zones appropriate for your skill level
- Stockpile — Save materials for crafting or selling on the market
