Aetherian Forge Guide
The Aetherian Forge is a PoE-inspired currency and affix system tied to the lore of the Forge of Binding.
Item Rarities
- Normal (white) — Base item, no affixes
- Magic (blue) — 1-2 random affixes
- Rare (yellow) — 3-6 random affixes
- Unique (orange) — Fixed affixes, special properties
Affixes
Equipment drops roll random affixes based on the monster's tier. Higher-tier monsters drop items with more and better affixes.
Affix stats include:
- Attack bonus
- Armor bonus
- HP/Mana bonus
- Elemental resistances
- Hit chance
- Speed
Each affix has a lore-connected name (e.g., "of Zariel", "of the Drowned King", "of Pyraxis").

Advanced: Corruption
Corrupting an item with a Corrupt Ember is a high-risk, high-reward action. The corruption can:
- Add a powerful implicit modifier
- Increase all affix values by 10-20%
- Rarely: destroy the item entirely
Once corrupted, an item cannot be modified further by any other Forge Relic. Choose wisely!
Strategy: Only corrupt items that are already well-rolled. Don't corrupt your only good item — have a backup.
Vendor Recipes
Some item sets can be sold to vendors for specific Forge Relics:
- Sell a full set of rare items → Forge Shard
- Sell a corrupted rare → Chaos Ember
- Sell a unique → Forge Crystal
Using Forge Relics
1. Open the Forge Panel in the game client
2. Select a Forge Relic from your inventory
3. Select the target item
4. Confirm the action
Relics are consumed on use — they're a natural economy sink. They're also tradeable on the Grand Exchange.
