Beginner's Guide to Aetheria

Welcome to Aetheria, an idle MMORPG set in a rich medieval fantasy world. This guide covers the basics to get you started on your adventure.

Creating Your Character

1. Register an account on the portal

2. Log in and create your first character

3. Choose your vocation — each has unique spells and playstyles

Your First Steps

• Talk to NPCs in your starting town to receive quests
• Hunt monsters in the surrounding areas to gain XP and gold
• Level up to unlock new spells and equipment
• Visit shops to buy better gear with your earned gold

Key Systems

Combat

Combat is real-time. Click monsters to attack. Your stats (attack, defense, armor) determine damage dealt and received.

Quests

Quests are given by NPCs. Talk to them and accept quests to earn XP, gold, and items. Some quests are part of chains — completing one unlocks the next.

Economy

Gold is earned from monster kills and quest rewards. You can spend it at NPC shops, on quests, or trade items on the Grand Exchange (market).

Tips for New Players

• Start with the Main Story (MS) chain — it guides you through all 14 towns
• Don't skip daily quests — they're repeatable and give bonus rewards
• Join a guild for community and shared activities
• Check the bestiary before hunting to learn monster weaknesses
